We have the best next door neighbours. They have saved me and the kids when we were locked out of the house on a storm day, they have baked us goodies, brought us home made wine, pressies for the kids, even saved our ride-on-horse from being stolen from the front lawn. They are good people and we are thankful to have them in our lives.
One of the greatest gifts they have given the kids is access to their garden. Connie extended the invite last year for Kate to come on in anytime and Kate has taken her up many, many times and now brings her brother along. Connie noticed the frequent guests and this year has included a pile of hidden treasures for them to find: Gnomes, frogs, houses, rabbits, birds. It's to die for and the kids are enchanted.
Connie's beautiful little garden that Kate now pretends to call her own.
Kate pointing out a treasure instead of smiling for the mandatory photo.
Peek-
a-boo.
Elliott found a frog that croaks when you go by (that's our house in the background).
Hard to see but Kate was giddy, running around like a maniac at this point.
We thank you Connie and Tom for your kindness and generosity. Happy Sunday everyone. AJ
