The egg dye activity box said for ages 5 and up. Now that I have a little personal experience I would say they're bang on. Kate couldn't figure out what to do with the magic crayon, Elliott drank part of the blue dye, they threw the eggs in the cups of colour rather than placed them and it literally it took longer to prepare the dye than the activity lasted. Again, the kids were pleased because they were bribed not to touch, spill or drink the colour with some Easter chocolates. And now that they are complete, we're all proud of the result.
Today's activity is a super simple one: plant some magical easter seeds in the front garden in the hopes that they bloom over night. Here's hoping that the forecasted snow storm doesn't impede the blooms.
To my Mom, Dad and Aunt in Mexico I hope your Easter includes margaritas poolside. To Rhonda, Norm, Aidan, Melissa and Simon I hope wherever you are - Germany or Turkey - is as awesome as it sounds.
All our love, CAKE
