it's all in the lighting

Poor Kate, I'm positive the differences that appear between her Easter activity and our inspiration photo are a case of bad lighting. I mean, I am not a professional photographer, in fact, I have no clue. I guess what's truly important is she had an absolute blast. We don't have many rocks around our neighbourhood and so only came up with seven to paint. She went through them in no time and then proceeded to paint anything I could get in front of her: gift bags, line drawings of eggs, blank papers. This is a girl who has been long deprived of the medium.
